No, we do not have to put up with everything. Patience has limits and life is to be lived, not supported

Life is meant to be lived, not supported. When we are forced to relieve everything, ignoring our feelings, ignoring sores still open, we impose upon ourselves a kind of psychological torture. And we should not impose suffering on anyone, including ourselves, to please others.

Being kind, friendly and helpful is a great thing. If more people had a little of their time and energy to help others, the world would probably be a much less hostile place and live would be much lighter.
On the other hand, we should not confuse gentleness with passivity. We should not allow them to abuse our goodwill and pass over us because we are good and we will accept and forgive everything.
No, we do not have to put up with everything. Patience has limits. No one has to go out into the world taking revenge, but no one should be obliged to live together and be gentle and to distribute kisses and smiles to those who have caused us suffering, for those who have hurt us freely.

Most of the time, as the popular saying goes, whoever hurting others, forgets. But who receive, not. When we offend or harm a person more objectively, causing damage to his life, we must rather try to fix what we have done wrong or at least try to mitigate the damage we do.

Nobody is forced to swallow everything because it is kind and friendly.

No, we are not forced to live with people who put us down with a fake smile on their lips and pseudo-polite words. We are not obliged to live with people who steal our air, which lowers our energy, which promotes any kind of embarrassment. We are not obliged to please those who do not make the least effort to rejoice. We are not obliged to sacrifice ourselves for those who do not give a damn about our feelings. We are not obliged to understand and empathize with those who have run over us as a tractor.

"Each one knows the pain and the delight of being what is". Yes, it is we and God who know our limits and know how far we can walk without forcing the joints of the soul. It is we and God who can measure the weight of an offense and the extent of damage suffered in our life.
